Hi there!

My name is Cora Vasut, and I am an alumna of Carleton’s School of Industrial Design with a minor in Psychology. My love and understanding of people, passion for innovation, and attention-to-detail motivate me to be thorough in bringing a design to life. I've learned that curiosity, empathy, and creativity will allow me to continuously create meaningful designs.

I get inspired by working on diverse teams who contribute to holistic design solutions that empower others, support personal and collective wellness, and foster rich experiences. To me, good design is ethical design; it minimizes harm and has a clear purpose and benefit. To achieve that, designers should strive for sustainability and co-design at every opportunity.

Ultimately, I think good design has the power to change the status quo for our planet and its people or simply bring small joys to everyday life.

In my downtime, you can catch me playing my bass guitar, experimenting with photography, scaling walls, shredding the slopes, or cycling around town with friends. I also geek out over good music and love curating my own playlists.

Thanks for visiting and hope you enjoy my work!
